Garage doors are just like anything else. They require upkeep to keep them running smoothly. We recommend that you do maintenance on your garage door about twice a year.

What does this involve?

Typically what we do when we come out will be to lube up your entire garage door and tighten everything. Our garage door company will do a full inspection of your garage door, testing the weight of the garage door to make sure it is properly balanced. If your garage door is out of balance, we will usually add some tension to the springs. If after adding tension on the springs the garage door remains heavy, we will recommend putting a new set of springs on your garage door. We will also tighten all of the lag bolts on your garage door, and replace any if need be. Home-owners would be surprised how much better and quieter your garage door can sound after some small maintenance on it.

Is it costly?

We charge 70$ to come out and do this service on your garage door. This 70$ will go a long way.
